The Canon Rebel XSi is Canon's latest DSLR for 2008. The follow on to the highly rated Rebel XTi. Now upgraded to a full 12.2 megapixels. Many features formerly reserved for Canon's top SLRs. Larger high resolution 3-inch LCD screen, 3.5 fps continuous shooting, See the image in the large LCD with the Live View Function for composition. EOS Dust Removal System removes dust from the sensor automatically with ultrasonic vibrations. Especially important when changing lenses in a dusty environment. Includes the 18-55mm optical image stabilized (IS) Lens.

The EOS Rebel XSi also has an improved, high magnification viewfinder that provides a larger overall view, and increased brightness and clarity. Improved 35-zone evaluative metering system. A new display off sensor, turns off the LCD when you are looking through the viewfinder. Compatibility with over 50 Canon EF Lenses. Upgraded to a DIGIC III Image Processor which provides fast, accurate image processing. Fast startup time.
