The new 7.1 megapixel SD-800 is the latest and greatest elph ever introduced by Canon. This elph is the first to have a wide angle (28mm equivalent) lens. This will allow you to fit more of your scenary or group shot in the picture. As with the SD700is, this camera also has optical image stablization to make pictures sharper even in low light or using the telephoto lens. The SD800is has a beautiful new high resolution, 2.5 inch LCD (207,000 pixels). This is the best LCD of the elph line.

A new feature, called face priority tracks the face of the person you are taking a picture of and keeps it in focus. Other Features Include: ISO 800, 16:9 widescreen mode. Full 30 frames/sec VGA movie mode. New Digic III chip.

The new 10.0 megapixel SD-900 has the most megapixels of any elph ever introduced by Cannon. This allows large prints to be made and more options on cropping your photos. The SD-700 is a first in Canon Elph history. This is the first elph camera that has optical image stabilization built in. This will make your pictures as sharp as possible, even in low light or using the long telephoto lens. The image stabilization works by compensating for any camera shake which is the cause of blurry pictures. This is also the first elph camera to incorporate a 4x optical zoom lens.
